How do I switch Bible reading modes?
Open the Reader Controls (the settings icon in the reader). You can toggle between Socratic, Devotional, and Thematic modes. Each mode changes how the text is presented and which quizzes accompany it.
How do I install Embernacle as an app on my phone?
On iOS (Safari): tap the Share icon → "Add to Home Screen." On Android (Chrome): tap the three-dot menu → "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App." Once installed, Embernacle works offline for Bible reading.
Is my data private?
Yes. We take privacy seriously. Your reading progress is stored locally on your device and in your account. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I report a bug or inappropriate content in the forum?
Email [email protected] with a description of the issue and, if applicable, a screenshot. We review all reports promptly.
Which Bible translations are available?
Embernacle currently supports KJV, BSB, WEB, and FBV. Additional translations are planned for future updates.
How do reading streaks work?
Your streak increments each day you complete at least one chapter or study session. Streaks reset at midnight in your local timezone if a day is missed.
